Conduct Expectations for the
Board, Committees, Volunteers & Staff
Purpose: To outline ethical conduct expected of the Lind-Bohanon board, committee members, and volunteers of the Lind-Bohanon Neighborhood Association. This includes anyone who volunteers on Minneapolis partnering committees that includes the NRP, NNA, CAN! and CPED committees.
Expectations of conduct at all times:
· Show concern & serve our community with the utmost in sensitivity and professionalism.
· Conduct yourself in a professional manner and represent the Lind-Bohanon Neighborhood Association, including any committee that is a part of the Association.
· Serve as a role model inside and outside of the Lind-Bohanon Community Council.
· Demonstrate a commitment to the Lind-Bohanon Neighborhood Association by acting as a volunteer on a committee and by attending planning meetings & events.
· Work as a team player.
· Demonstrate commitment to the leadership team and the overall vision & goals of the committee.
· Possess good communication skills that include: interpersonal, listening & speaking skills.
· Always act as a positive public relations person that represents the Lind-Bohanon Neighborhood Association.
· Show the ability to distinguish between major and minor issues and focus on major issues.
· Abide by all local, state & federal laws
· Abide by the By-Laws of the Lind-Bohanon Neighborhood Association & these Conduct Expectations.
· No member of the council may use excessive alcohol or any illegal drugs before attending a meeting or event at the Lind-Bohanon Neighborhood Association
· Lind-Bohanon Neighborhood Association prohibits handguns or weapons on its premises.
